J. B.OWENS ZANESVILLE ARTS AND CRAFTS FRAMED TILE WITH DECORATIVE FLOWER

Description

Circa early 1900's, this J. B. Owens tile with the frame is 13.75" long by 10" wide. The tile out of the frame is 9" long by 6" wide. The background color is a light brown, the flower is deeply cutout, and it is glazed in a light green. Stamped on the back "Owens Zanesville", there are a few small nicks around the edges of the tile, and no cracks, hairlines, or repairs. It is a wonderful example of the Arts and Crafts style that was being produced in Ohio. If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Gerr Antiques.
